Abstract「要旨」動脈圧波が末梢に伝播するにつれて一般に認められるpeaking現象とsteepening現象は, 従来より脳波の反射説によって説明されている. 圧波の反射説に基づけば, 動脈圧波は線形波動, つまり本質的に色々な周波数の波の合成として考えなくてはならない. このため, 波形を周波数成分ごとに分解するフーリエ解析を用いて, 動脈圧波形を調べた. 今回の結果では, 高齢者の圧波形は若年者の圧波形よりも高周波数成分を多く含んでいた. この結果は圧波の反射説で説明することが困難である. 著者は, 動脈圧波は血管弾性の非線形性による非線形波動であると考える.

AbstractAs the arterial pressure wave moves away from the heart, the systolic pressure becomes progressively more peaked, and the initial upstoroke becomes steeper in the waveform. The mechanism responsible for the changes in the arterial pressure waveform has been elucidated by recent studies of pulse wave reflection by McDonald, and others. On the view of wave refrection theory, it is concluded that arterial pressure waveform is essentially consist of various frequencies. We studied the arterial pressure waveform using by the fourier analysis. From the obtained results, arterial pressure waveformes of aged patient contain higher frequencies than those of younger patient. It thought to be difficult to elucidate the results by wave reflection theory. We speculate that the arterial pressure waves might be nonlinearly transmitted by the nonlinear elasticity of arterial wall.
