Abstract | 「要旨」肺動脈造影用カテーテルの主ルーメンの周波数特性を測定した. 外形が7Fr, 110cmと5Fr, 50cmの2群, それぞれ材質がポリ塩化ビニールとポリウレタンの2種を対象とした. 主ルーメンを脱気した乳酸加リンゲル液で満たし, 側孔に正弦波状に変化する圧を加えて, 振幅の周波数特性を測定した. Arrow, B. Braunについては固有周波数と制動係数は5Fr, 7Frとも50Hz以上, 0.13以下, 無歪でモニターすることができる最高周波数は12Hz以上となり, 圧モニタ用肺動脈カテーテル(2ルーメン, 先端孔)より優れた特性を示した. Baxterについては前2社と比較してカテーテルの基材が柔らかいため, 特性はやや劣り, 7Fr, 5Frともそれぞれ固有周波数と制動係数は38Hz前後, 0.15以下, 最高周波数は9Hzであった. 各社とも忠実な肺動脈圧波形を得ることができ, 側孔から圧を導入する影響はない. 比重が1, 4程度, 粘度が水の14倍程度の“重い”造影剤が高い注入圧で押し込まれるため, 主ルーメンは肉厚な構造となっている. その結果, ルーメンのコンプライアンスが低下し, 周波数特性が著明に改善されたと結論できる. |

Abstract | Frequency characteristics were determined of eight models of pulmonary angiographic catheters from 3 manufacturers (Arrow, B. Braun, Baxter) in a deaerated lactated Ringer's solution. The frequency characteristics was related to the structure of the lumen, and the structure of a thick-wall and a circular cross section (Arrow, B. Braun) proved to have a better frequency characteristics than that of radial cross section partitioned with thin walls (Baxter). The former proved to have the natural frequencies of 55 to 61 Hz up, and damping coefficients of 0.13 to 0.11, and the latter, 38 to 39 Hz, 0.15 to 0.12, respectively. Overall superiority in frequency characteristics of these angiographic catheters was found as compared with those of the open end catheters for pulmonary artery wedgepressure measurement.
